I've always looked for points of reference, standards towards which to aim. My mother has always been the most important figure, my great grand-mother and Barbie, of course. For me they represented beauty, tenacity, independence, gumption, self-assurance, panache and love of life. It's always easier to define these concepts visually. It's always easier to choose icons that stand for, or upon which we project certain values. Here are mine.
